A close call (well, a close shave anyway) with the Schick Hydro Silk razor! #imabzzagent

I've been shaving my legs for somewhere around 20 years now. You think I'd be used to it. Nope. I hate it. It's such a chore. And from sudsing, to shaving, rinsing, drying, moisturizing, moisturizing, moisturizing, I usually have to dedicate an extra 10-15 minutes just to my legs! Makes me want to wear pants all year round!

Well say good bye to wasted time and effort and multiple lotion applications with the Schick Hydro Silk razor!

Shaving with the Schick Hydro Silk razor is smooth and comfortable! I used just a bit of soap, but in a pinch, you could actually shave with the razor and no soap, thanks to the moisturizing serum. It was a quick and easy shave. No shaving from different angles or shaving over two or three times to try and get the closest shave. One smooth swipe and I was smooth as a baby's bottom! It's a little hard to tell in the photo below, but my right leg is freshly shaved with the Schick Hydro Silk razor. It was softer, smoother, and even almost a bit brighter than the other leg. Fantastic!

After shaving, I didn't have to rush to get dried off and then apply moisturizer before my skin dried out. The moisturizing serum kept it silky and smooth for about an hour before I got around to applying a little lotion.



The package comes with the razor and blade, and extra refill, and a suction cup holder for your tub or shower. I have a matte finish, tile shower and the suction cup wouldn't hold. But any smooth shower surface would work great, and the razor would be up out of the way and convenient to grab!

I'm constantly looking for healthier snack options for the foods my family loves. And we are big popcorn and chip lovers. I don't, however, buy them often because they are generally not great for us. I think if they toned down the onion a bit, it could definitely appeal to a wider group of consumers. My kids didn't like them a bit, being that the onion flavor is so strong. I also tried out the Garlic Tomato Basil Hummus Popped Chips. They are also Kosher, contain no MSG, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, and no trans fat! They have a crunchy texture, just like potato chips, but without all the grease! The flavor was just right, and the varieties available offer something for everyone. They come in Feta Herb, Cinnamon Brown Sugar
Multigrain, and Italian Herb Multigrain, as well as the Garlic Tomato Basil. Yum!

I was sent a free product coupon from BzzAgent, so I went right to Walmart and picked out the UNREAL 54.  Peanut M&Ms are my absolute favorite candy on the planet, so I was skeptical of an "unjunked" version.  But I was pleasantly surprised!  No, I'm not going to lie to you, they aren't Peanut M&M's.  But they are very close.  They absolutely satisfied my sweet tooth, but without all the guilt!  If I wasn't so picky about my candy, I might not have even noticed the difference, and I know my kids didn't.  We all enjoyed trying out the UNREAL 54 and can't wait to try the others, and see what other varieties they come out with!

What kid doesn't enjoy being able to stay out after dark, playing games with friends?  I know mine do!  When the sun goes down, it's usually our indicator to head inside.  Not anymore!  As the days get shorter, we spend more and more time indoors.  But with new NERF FireVision sport products, our fun can continue, even after sundown!



The basic idea is, you wear these cool futuristic looking goggles, and the ball lights up right before your eyes.  So you can play in the dark!  The hook is, only the people wearing the goggles are able to see the ball.  Cool, right?  However, this made it impossible for me to get a good picture! Darn!

How does this thing work? 

Using NERF's Microprism Technology, the products light up when you play. And here's a tip I personally love! Do you make super healthy, lean chicken breasts on the grill? Don't you hate when, no matter what you do, they turn out dry? I have found the secret! Here's my simplest recipe for never-fail-to-be-tender chicken breasts!

Then I put them on the grill and drizzle with just a tablespoon or so of olive oil. Then grill to your liking! So easy, and I guarantee that you will never serve your family dried out chicken again!

I put this stuff to the test on our first camping trip of the year. When we camp, we limit showers to conserve water in our camper. Therefore, on our 6 day trip, we all only showered twice. Because of all of the damage I do to my hair with coloring and styling, per my stylist, I try to only wash my hair every other day. So after a few washes, I realized that I couldn't condition anywhere near my scalp. If I just conditioned the ends of my hair, I could go two days without washing. And the conditioning is so deep, that even without a wash every day, I wasn't fighting frizz.
