Glamorous Customized Clothing from Just Jen

I played around a little and decide to create a customized hoodie! I chose the pullover hoodie in white, with the phrase "Yoga Diva" in black rhinestone lettering. I even added a yellow rhinestone star to the back! All said and done, the total was just over $50. Where else can you get a quality, made to order hoodie for that price? Crazy!

General Mills Reduces Sugar in their cereals!

I was lucky enough to be contacted by My Blog Spark to spread the word about the changes being made to General Mills cereal. They sent me 4 coupons for free General Mills Cereals to give them a try. And I was happy to oblige! We eat a lot of cereal in our house and I guess I don't really pay attention to the amount of sugar in them. My kids eat cereal just about every morning before school. It's super fast and easy and with all of the options out there, it never seems to get old!

Since we eat so much cereal, I'm really excited that General Mills announced a commitment to further reduce sugar in cereals advertised to kids under 12 to single digit grams of sugar per serving. The company has already been reducing sugar in cereals while increasing key nutrients, such as calcium and vitamin D, and providing whole grain.

Did you know that ready-to-eat cereal eaters consume less fat, less cholesterol and more fiber than non-cereal eaters? Cereals also deliver important vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients, making cereal a top source of key nutrients in children´s diets.

Ready-to-eat cereals, including presweetened cereals, account for only 5% of sugar in children´s diets and is the No. 1 source of whole grains in a child´s diet today. More frequent cereal eaters tend to have healthier body weights and lower Body Mass Index measures.

A 1998 study showed that children who eat breakfast tend to perform better at school. Compared to children who skip breakfast, children who eat breakfast score higher on tests, are less likely to miss class or be tardy, have fewer reported discipline problems, and make fewer trips to the office.

See? Now I don't feel so bad about them eating cereal all the time!
