Skoy Cloth Review and GIVEAWAY!! ENDS 10/10/09

*****GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED*****
You can see the winners HERE!

Yay! I love doing giveaways for products that I truly believe in and truly LOVE!! Revolutionary new Skoy Cloths are the perfect example! Two stay at home moms created this incredible product out of a desire to share a cloth that is better than any cloth they had ever used and was environmentally friendly. The Skoy Cloth was born! Check out the full story here.

I was lucky enough to be sent a few of these to try out. It's taken me a little while to post this because I wanted to make sure I gave them a true, thorough test. I've been using my Skoy cloth (yes, the same one) for about two weeks now. It is incredible! It's strong enough for scrubbing those tough to clean dishes yet still soft enough to wipe the kids' faces, since it's made of a 100% biodegradable unique blend of natural cotton and wood-pump cellulose. It's also non-toxic, chlorine-free and made using water-based colors and inks.

And it completely replaces paper towels for other cleaning tasks too. As a matter of fact, the company boasts that one Skoy cloth is equivalent to 15 rolls of paper towels! I believe it. It's so absorbent it out cleans ANY paper towel or sponge that I've ever tried. It can be used with most household cleaners but works great all by itself!

The best part is that it's much more sanitary than using regular cloth rags. The Skoy cloth dries completely in a matter of a couple of hours, so bacteria doesn't have a chance to make a home in it. To keep it clean and fresh, just zap a wet Skoy cloth in the microwave for 1-2 minutes and any germs and bacteria are destroyed! An even easier option, toss it in the dishwasher with your load of dishes! And if you're old fashioned, it's also washer and dryer safe. But I must add that I've wiped up spaghetti sauce with it and it still rinses clean to it's original color with just a little water! No more orange stained dish rags!

This is a great, eco-friendly company from product production, to packaging and shipping! I'm glad to support them and I'm sure you'd love their products. If you'd like to purchase Skoy Cloths, visit their website HERE and check out the list of retailers and e-tailers.

I'm also happy to annouce that, thanks to the wonderful owners or Skoy Enterprises, I have two packs of four Skoy cloths to give away! Yay for you!

  4. I try not to use many paper towels, and most of my old dishrags/cleaning rags are becoming more rag than usable cloth. So replacing them with SKOY would be efficient, attractive and eco-friendly!

  8. I'm currently using recycled paper towels. I love that they're environmentally friendly, but they simply do not absorb liquids. I'd love to find something that works AND is eco-friendly.

  25. I feel like if I hear the phrase "in these economic times we all need to cut back" one more time, I'm going to scream, but it's true. I want to replace paper towels and the like because they are an extravagance I just don't need right now. Those dollars could be better spent shoring up the auto industry by buying a new car!!
